About the Austin Lawn Sprinkler Association

The Austin Lawn Sprinkler Association (ALSA) is a local, non-profit organization, comprised of licensed sprinkler contractors, suppliers, and other interested parties. The primary aim of ALSA is to provide consumers in the Central Texas area with the most up-to-date and reliable sprinkler equipment, information, and education, while using the most advanced design and installation techniques in the industry today.

The Austin Lawn Sprinkler Association is continually striving to ensure that only competent and legally-licensed individuals are involved in the design and installation of underground lawn sprinkler systems in the greater Austin area.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Austin Lawn Sprinkler Association, a non-profit corporation, is to inform and educate the public on water conservation and irrigation methods, and to promote high quality and reliable irrigation services and products in the greater Austin area. Specific elements of our mission include:

ALSA Code of Ethics

To exert every effort to insure that all recommendations, designs and installations are realistically based on the true performance characteristics of the equipment used and are in the best interest of the ultimate user.

To continually analyze design and installation techniques in order to improve performance and insure water conservation.

To do business in the full spirit of free enterprise and of unselfish service in the best interest of the public.

To advertise and sell the comparative advantages of ALSA membership and to refrain from degrading competitors in any manner.

To be alert and diligent at all times in guarding the safety, health and welfare of the general public during the design, specification and installation of all underground turf irrigation systems.

To conduct all affairs in a manner in which will help maintain respect and recognition for the ALSA.

To comply with all laws, statutes, regulations and ordinances, and all applicable permits required in the normal course of business.

To guarantee workmanship and promptly satisfy all reasonable and just claims on said warranties and all other contractual obligations.
